Heading for Vegas for Gambler's Book Shop:

Date/Time: Jan 20, Wed, 2PM
1550 E. Tropicana Ave. #4
Las Vegas, NV 89119
Phone: (702) 382-7555

Would love to meet forum members if they're in the area. Posted this information on vpFREE today. Caution that there's a virus on that web site so be very careful about going there until you get the all clear signal. In fact, lots of problems reported with viruses on Yahoo Groups so tread lightly or not at all. Linda

As answerman already said, he has graciously offered to be my co-moderator on this forum. I couldn't hope for a better partner on VP news!

I'll be doing a podcast with Steve Bourie, American Casino Guide, on Jan 14--I'll make sure I provide a link afterwards.

Also, I'll be doing a podcast with Howard Schwartz, owner of the wonderful Gambler's Book Shop in Las Vegas on Jan 20--I'll provide a link to that as well. If you're in Vegas please stop by to meet me and for a book signing on the 20th--Howard will have all the details.

Here's the web site link:

Gambler's Book Shop:

1550 E. Tropicana Ave. #4
Las Vegas, NV 89119
Phone: (702) 382-7555

If you're in Vegas you will definitely want to stop by this wonderful store--all things related to gambling can be found along with amazing pictures of some of the most iconic figures in Vegas history decorate the walls. If it's not too busy and owner Howard Schwartz is in a talkative mood you'll hear little know stories about the famous and infamous from Vegas's colorful past. (Benny Binion, Stuey Unger, John Smith (one of my favorite authors, although Steve Wynn may beg to differ, and many, many more.) Also, you will find the latest edition of Midwest Gaming & Travel's magazine!

I'll keep you posted on my plans--really would love to meet forum members if they'll be in Vegas around that time. Linda
